A message from our Church Leaders:
As many of you know, Hurricane Milton has caused significant damage to the Sanctuary building, particularly the Narthex (entryway). The building siding was compromised and the roof was torn up which caused interior water damage. While the physical structure needs extensive repairs, we want to remind everyone that our true church is not just the building—it’s the people who come together to praise God and serve Christ and neighbor.
To restore our church and continue serving in our community, we need your help. The estimated cost for repairs is substantial, and we are planning a “Church restoration campaign” to help cover repair costs as well as replenish the fund we already have for emergency situations. In the meantime, you can volunteer your time, help spread the word, and donate. Your support will make a difference. We have set up a “church restoration” account and you can donate through the website, by mail, or in the offering plate.
As we celebrate our church’s 90th birthday, we thank God for the privilege of serving in this community and look forward to serving for 90+ more years! Thank you for your prayers and continued support during this difficult time. We’ll keep you updated on our progress and the different ways you can help.
God bless you,
Pastor Loli and the Session of The Presbyterian Church of Seffner
